This is the overflow from the pond at Canyon Park, Diana’s Mirror. The dam was built in 1933 and the springs have been running ever since. On the top of the dam there is smaller cutout for the daily flow with a larger spillway for the big storms. You can sit “on the point” on the top of the canyon, just off the yard and have a great view of the dam, it’s siting the perfect location for this view. I’m sure that the location was planned and it turned out just right.
