Here are a couple of strange fungi. It’s two different specimens but they each had four segments.

Stars of the Show

 

For a couple of weeks in early May, the violets are the stars of the show.  They carpet the yard and line the trails, and make lots of smiles in May Baskets and Mothers Day bouquets.
