Where to begin? The white pines? The cozy living room, sun on the patio? Great bath tub? Hummingbirds? Love it all, G&E

A few highlights from our stay:
*Delicious feasts at the kitchen table
*Hearing coyotes late at night
*Star gazing
*Fantastic fires at the fire pit (with s’mores, of course, and smores with peanut butter
*A fascinating trip to GrandView and the Log Cabin in Hollandale. Not to be missed!

We had a great 2 days. Favorite times were around the kitchen table, especially making and eating cornish pasties in the land of our ancestors! SH

Our family camped here every summer in the late 60s and 70s. We always loved it here and really enjoyed coming back and renewing old memories.
Great Time! We loved it all.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend. The quiet, the woods, the fireplace, all were perfect.
We’ll be calling to arrange another stay! C&S
ps Thanks for the full moon - that was a nice touch!
Barely back home 24 hrs. & we’re already talking about a return visit for the spring and fall for next year. It’s that relaxing, stimulating( to explore), & just plain fun to visit and walk around the grounds. Spent a week with the intent of photographing fall colors( we were two weeks early; can’t outguess nature); & ended up visiting the circus( Baraboo), Norway( Little Norway & Mt.Horeb), Switzerland( New Glarus), & Cornwall( Mineral Point). Not to mention that all time favorite for rainy days…House on the Rock. Managed to squeeze in time to see several communities in the region, whilst chasing the Bargain Nook resale shops at spousal request(s). Saw Hyde Mill & the Springgreen region also. Next visit , maybe we’ll get to concentrate on a few state parks.
Will definitely recommend Canyon Park Cabin to those interested in one of the better places to just be yourself and see great scenery, eat great food, and meet outstanding people and communities…..
