Bedroom #1 is the original 1940’s cabin bedroom, with a double bed and the antique green chifarobe. When you wake up, the view of the pines is an inspirational way to start the day.
Bedroom #2 is bright and breezy, and a large armoire to store all your gear.
Bedroom #3 has the antique dresser and mirror, and is a restful place for a quiet cup of tea and a book (code for “nap”).
Bedroom #4 is camping in comfort for the kids or grownups. You’ll drift back to the day’s fun in your dreams.
Bedrooms #2, 3 and 4 all have spacious closets with built-in drawers, shelves and plenty of closet space, with extra blankets and pillows, and room for your week’s supply of clean laundry.
The kitchen is large and bright, everything you need to make a delicious fresh meal or a convenient snack.
The roomy kitchen adjoins the very large Living Room, so everyone can join in the conversation and the fun.
A cozy spot to sit and visit, watch the birds, warm your toes by the fire.
The massive fireplace warms you and the room for hours. Lots of classics on the bookshelves to relax with. Were you going somewhere?

The first thing you’ll notice is the extraordinary setting. The cabin is nestled in the woods, and it’s secluded. The yard is bright with flowers and sunshine, and this sylvan spot perches on the bluff above the canyon.

There’s a large patio in front of the house and a huge deck near by. Both spots are a great place to have coffee or a picnic and watch the birds and wildlife. After breakfast, folks seem to just naturally drift out into the yard to play, soak up some sun, and soon they are exploring the trails leading into the woods, and taking off on expeditions down to the pond.
Inside, the 4 Bedroom cabin is fully furnished, has all the comforts of home, and it’s so inviting!
The Living Room is very memorable, with burnished log walls and knotty pine ceiling. It’s part of the original cabin built in the late 1940s, and the stone fireplace and oak floors are original from the property. There are lots of comfy spots to relax in front of the cozy fire, but there’s also enough room to set up the band for rehearsals, hold a class, a meeting, or host small intimate events, weddings, memorials, family reunions.
The Cabin Bedroom adjoins the Living Room as part of the original cabin, so it has the same cozy log walls, knotty pine ceiling and oak floors. The comfy queen bed invites you to linger and enjoy the serene view of the pines just outside the window. You’re welcome to hang your clothes in the antique chifarobe, and you’ll lament with me that my mom and I “antiqued” it green in the early seventies!
The full kitchen is large, bright and the antique table can host an intimate dinner for two, or expand to hold a massive buffet or seat a large group for meals or meetings. The gas range, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and microwave help make entertaining and relaxing simple.The other 3 Large Bedrooms are decorated simply and each window holds a view of the natural beauty of Canyon Park. Rest and relax in a lovely setting. One Queen Bed Room, One Double Bed Room & one room with 2 Twin Beds assures that everyone gets comfortable.
A small sitting area and snack kitchen with sink, small fridge and microwave adjoins the two smaller bedrooms.
This small apartment with 2 bedrooms (1 double, 2 twins), snack kitchen and bathroom can be separated by a door from the main house for more privacy. Great feature for families and groups!
