The Original Cabin

In the original cabin, built in the 40′s, the massive fireplace is made from the stone in the park. They are layed out symmetrically and fossils are in the face. The floors were milled on-site from oak trees in the woods. The logs are from Door County, they have been milled with a concave tongue and groove arrangement and fit together nicely. There’s a sample of the logs on the mantle.
